South Nodaway R-IV will be a Testing Center for All Testing Dates in 2016-17 as long as enough students sign-up to test. (Min. of 15 required to be a testing center)
South Nodaway's Testing Center Code is: 210-680 (must put this on the registration form in order to test at SN). Register early to ensure a seat at the South Nodaway Testing Center. We can only accommodate 50 students at our testing site. If you are not one of the first 50 to register you will not get a seat at SN. If we do not meet the minimum of 15 students then ACT will automatically reassign you to the nearest test center. (usually Maryville).
South Nodaway R-IV ACT High School Code: 260-135 (required for your scores to be reported to South Nodaway so that they can be placed on student transcripts).
As of 2015....Students are now required to register online for the ACT and to upload a photo at the time of registration. Students are also required to have a ticket in order to test. If they do not have there ticket the day of the test they cannot be allowed to test. Also, many colleges, including Northwest, are now requiring that ACT scores be sent directly to them by ACT. Students can send there scores to up to 4 colleges for free each time they test, but if they don't send it to the college they eventually go to then they will have to pay later on to have there scores sent. Many colleges are no longer accepting the ACT scores reported from the high school transcripts. I am available to help students register for the ACT. Students just need to let me know that they are wanting to sign-up.
Test Fees:
ACT (No Writing) Basic Fee = $42.50
ACT (Writing Option) Basic Fee = $58.50 (most students will not need this)
All South Nodaway Students can take the ACT twice for FREE! Our local PTO will pay for every student to test once during their Junior or Senior year and the state of Missouri now pays for all Juniors to take the ACT (all Juniors will be required to take this test in the Spring.....sign up will be done at school). See Mr. Wray for more info about any of this info.
Also, students who meet one of the following qualifications may TEST FOR FREE up to two additional times:
-- Student participates in Free/Reduced Lunch Program
-- Student is Homeless or in Foster Care
-- Family receives public assistance of any type
If you have questions about testing for free email me at [email protected]
